Abstract portrait of a mysterious lady in a cocktail bar by Roger VDB

This captivating artwork portrays a sensuously seated lady in a stylish cocktail bar, enjoying a glass of wine. Imbued with Tamara de Lempicka's glamorous and sophisticated style, the painting combines rich colours and geometric shapes to create an atmosphere of mystery and abstraction.

The lady sits casually, her posture exuding confidence and elegance. She wears a sumptuous dress in bold shades of emerald green and deep blue, which contrast beautifully with the warm, golden accents of the bar environment. Her face is not visible, which adds a sense of mystery and invites the viewer to explore the hidden emotions and thoughts behind her pose.

Tamara de Lempicka's style, known for her Art Deco influences, is evident in the clean lines and structured shapes that dominate the painting. The colours are rich and saturated, and the lighting accentuates the lady's sensual curves, creating a dramatic effect.

Similar well-known works are De Lempicka's own "La Belle Rafaela" and "Young Lady with Gloves", which focus on the combination of elegance, colour and mysterious allure. This portrait captures the essence of timeless glamour and contemporary abstraction, inspired by Tamara de Lempicka's masterful technique. It is an intriguing and visually stunning work of art that blurs the boundaries between classic and modern.
