This monotype or monoprint is made with a gelliplate and acrylic paint. A unique handmade and one-off piece, only 1 print can be made of your design. The graphic printing technique and the paper used create all kinds of textures and effects. This makes it interesting to look at. Here, many layers are printed on top of each other, with self-made templates in between. As a result, there seems to be a certain depth to the work. Each layer leaves a different part of the paper unprinted and ultimately gives an unpredictable result by creating residual shapes. The warm red colour is interspersed with light sections that provide freshness, some cool light blue and warm yellow. The black adds spice and an extra graphic effect. It is a warm and happy work like a burning fireplace, where you can also keep looking at the flames to see something different in them all the time. Or like a sunset reflected in the rippling water. This work also does well as a bit of grunge wallpaper.
