Geese photographed with a slow shutter speed to accentuate their movement. These greylag geese took to the air with many others, especially barnacle geese. The high-key look that this photo already naturally had is emphasised by being converted to black and white.
During the winter, thousands of geese reside in my area, during that period it gives a good opportunity to photograph these birds in different ways. Our winter, with many grey days, allows high-key photography to be used.
Ronald Buitendijk started a few years ago with photographing animals he was looking for. With great pleasure he goes looking for wild animals to put them on film. Of course this is done in a way to disturb the animals as little as possible.
