In this image, the boundaries between reality and reflection blur. The trees no longer seem firmly anchored in the earth, but float weightlessly in the soft surface of the water. Their shapes dissolve into lines, spots and patterns, transforming the recognisable nature into an abstract painting of light and shadow. What first appears to be a landscape becomes a play of rhythm and symmetry - a silent dialogue between above and below, real and unreal, solid and liquid.
The reflection in the water invites one to slow down. Those who look become aware of how our gaze constantly searches for meaning, while nature itself demands no explanation. The trees mirror not only their own silhouette, but also our human tendency to see order in chaos.
This photograph balances on the interface of image and perception. It does not show a snapshot of reality, but an interpretation of it - a visual meditation on stillness, impermanence and perspective. In the abstraction, space for imagination is created: the water becomes a canvas, the trees brushstrokes of light.
