About "Abandoned long corridor in Central Market Hall Amsterdam"

About the artwork

This work in black and white shows a very long hallway in the Central Market Hall in Amsterdam. The hall is being converted for reuse. The hall, which dates from 1920, is being made more sustainable. On the complex where the Central Market Hall stands, the new Marktkwartier residential district is going to rise with 1800 homes. The photo was taken during Open Monument Day 2022.

About image maker Peter Bartelings: as a born and raised Amsterdammer, he is closely connected to the city of Amsterdam. Besides the large Amsterdam collection, he also makes work of other cities in the Netherlands, such as Haarlem, Groningen, Zwolle, Leiden, Delft, etc. In addition, Peter has also done a lot of work in France and Germany. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
