This laundry room has a rather natural look.
It is a bathroom/laundry room in an abandoned military complex where a battle is going on between nature and graffiti artists/vandals to overgrow the building. In this battle and due to erosion, the building is slowly being consumed.
The original paint is peeling off the walls and ceilings, while new paint is added with regularity as graffiti is sprayed over.
The entire window frame has caved out and where there used to be a window, there is now a large hole through which trees and bushes grow in.
A passing Red Deer looks in curiously, an absurdist element in an Urbex -Urban Exploring- sculpture.
Outside, it is sunny. The incoming light shines through the foliage, giving it a green colour.
The photo was taken with High Dynamic Range (HDR) to achieve a balanced exposed composition despite the strong contrasts between the dark corridors and the brightly lit outside world, over which a digital processing took place to give the final image a heavy dramatic look.
