"A square of abstraction: Lines and circles" is a macro photograph of a fluff of a dandelion, with a beige - brown (light wood colour) background. Water droplets hang from the fluff. This work has a very calm, dreamy atmosphere and there is also a sense of depth in the work. This is because I chose a shallow depth of field when taking this picture. This means that only a small part of the photo is in focus and the further away (or closer) a part is, the blurrier it becomes. The drops also help to create this dreamy atmosphere, they reflect the light and this creates glare on the drops. This photo was taken with a more extreme macro lens than is normally used. This magnifies the subject even more and you start to see elements you had probably never seen before:For example, see the "little hooks" attached to the hairs of the fluff? "The wonderful world of extreme macro photography". Among other things, this work could look good in a rural or basic living style. Very suitable as wall decoration for the waiting room, bedroom, hallway or simply above the couch in the living room! Also beautiful on the wall in a meeting room (business) ©Marjolijn van den Berg
