About "A space oddysey"

About the artwork

It started with two fluff pieces of a dandelion floating in rainwater. When I walked through the garden and looked into the oak rain barrel, it was like seeing the universe. The two fluff pieces floated among a sea of fine dust, it looked like a starry sky. Immediately I saw through the viewfinder of the camera what I wanted to portray with this : A space oddysey !

I took the picture and ran inside, when something is in my head I immediately get to work.
The computer was started up and I began to edit. And this work turned out exactly how I envisioned it. Fluff in a space world, where would they float to?
That in turn reminds me of a text from Star Trek
"To boldly go where no man has gone before".
Inspiration enough for this picture :)

It's so beautiful what you can see in a rain barrel with water. Just in your own garden, where nature can show something beautiful. Where you can tell stories and where a starry sky arises in your mind.

This work is for the lover, of the universe, of sci-fi series and movies. For in the study or bedroom to dream away.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
