Golden silence: A little piece of nature by Marjolijn van den Berg

This photograph as wall decoration: "Golden silence: A small piece of nature" is a macro photograph of small water droplets on the fluff of a Tragopogon fruit. The focus (and also the sharpness) is on the large fluff that is quite prominent in the image. The further away you look from it, the fuzzier the fluffs become. This transforms the background into a sea of golden lights (reflections of the light in the droplets). This photograph mainly features brown tones such as champagne, beige, taupe and golden brown.
By enlarging the small things around us that we hardly notice, they can amaze and astonish us! You would not easily notice this with the naked eye. The macro lens allows you to give a different perspective on subjects from a different angle and magnification!
The depth of field is very shallow in this photo (only a few millimetres from the fluff), creating a dreamy atmosphere and a sense of depth in the work. The droplets also contribute to this dreamy atmosphere, reflecting the light and creating sparkles on the droplets.
The structure of these fruit fluffs is very fine and forms a beautiful texture to which the water droplets cling.
