About ‘A secluded mountain hut in Norway’ by Mijke Bressers

During our road trip through Norway, we came across this mountain hut. There was actually nothing particularly spectacular about it, and perhaps that’s precisely why I found it so beautiful. The hut stands right in the middle of the landscape and really brings home just how small you can sometimes feel amidst Norway’s natural surroundings.

I deliberately included a lot of the sky and the surroundings. For me, the power of this photo lies not just in the hut, but precisely in the space around it. The dark clouds give the landscape just that little bit of extra character, without making it feel unsettling.

For me, this photo isn’t just about a mountain hut. It’s about the silence you sometimes find when you’re far enough away from everything. That makes this image a lovely choice for anyone who loves Scandinavian landscapes, a sense of calm at home, and memories of travelling through Norway.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
