I took this picture at the Ermelosche Heide on the Veluwe. Although it was summer the heather was not yet flowering in a nice purple color. The Ermelosche Heide is a fairly large heathland which is grazed by a herd of sheep. As you can see there were some clouds but luckily also sunny moments. The path in the photo is not part of a trail, but you can walk on it. For this photo I chose to convert it to black and white. The trees are mainly pine and birch which you see more often on the Ermelosche heide.
