"A panorama of a very small piece of dandelion fluff" is an (extreme) macro photo of a dandelion fluff, with a red -brown background. Water droplets hang from the fluff.
The depth of field is very shallow, (only a few millimetres from the fluff) this creates a quiet, dreamy atmosphere and also a sense of depth in the work. The focus is at the part where the stalk turns into the fluff. The drops also help to create this dreamy atmosphere, they reflect the light and this creates sparkles on the drops. The colours remind me of warm colours (browns, oranges, old-fashioned vintage / retro colours). This work has been cropped to panorama size.
This photo was taken with a more extreme macro lens than is normally used. This magnifies the subject even more and you start to see elements you had probably never seen before: "The wonderful world of extreme macro photography". For example, do you see the "little hooks" attached to the hairs of the lint?
This sounds easier than it is, because you are only photographing such a small piece, any movement you make is immediately visible in your photo. Besides, the light and very limited sharpness are also a challenge! But after a lot of patience, practice, trial and error and keep going, you also get something unique!
Very suitable as wall decoration for the waiting room, bedroom, hallway or simply above the couch in the living room!
Also beautiful on the wall in a meeting room ( business)
