In this work, we see a nocturnal street corner in Paris, captured in an atmosphere reminiscent of Edward Hopper's paintings. The soft light radiating from the façade contrasts with the deep shadows of the narrow street, giving an almost cinematic character to the two figures in the foreground. They seem lost in a moment of silence and everyday intimacy, while the surrounding architecture, with its weathered details and closed shutters, evokes a certain melancholy.
The painting is made with digital techniques and based on a photograph I took myself. In this way, reality is transformed into a poetic and tranquil scene, in which the everyday of the Parisian night takes on a timeless beauty.
