This photo: "A hydrangea leaf in winter" is a macro photo of a simple hydrangea leaf, which has been off the plant for a while and dried. This shows the beautiful vein structure of the leaves beautifully. When making this image, I wanted to create a winter atmosphere but with warmth in it. This leaf has beautiful warm colours in different shades of brown (such as beige, taupe, light and dark brown). The leaf lies on a bed of a water retaining layer with a light blue colour mixed with a kind of cream colour . This creates a distinct texture, which feels almost graphic, but it is still really photographed. Because this background also has a warm glow in it, it doesn't feel icy, but it does have a wintry feel to it.
A rural still life, which exudes peace and calm.
The detailed structure of the hydrangea leaf is very nice to see when you zoom in on the photo. In addition, you can then also nicely see the contrast between the structure of the leaf and the background.
This photo could hang beautifully as wall decoration in, for example, the dining room, kitchen, bedroom or simply above the sofa! (Also of course beautiful in business spaces such as on the wall in a meeting room, office, waiting room or practice room!)
