About the artwork

A picture I've wanted to take for years: the outlet of the Loisach from the Kochelsee in winter when the fog clears. Once again, it's more difficult than it seems at first, because it has to be cold enough for hoar frost to form and there should also be at least a little snow. A little wind is desirable so that the trees are reflected. The fog is not the problem, as it always occurs in winter in high-pressure weather conditions due to the warm water in Lake Kochel. The question is whether it will clear... For me, the whole thing is made even more difficult by the fact that I have a two-and-a-half hour journey and can't just check the weather "live". The webcam on the Herzogstand showed me that the fog had started to clear the day before at around 10am and that it was currently foggy. As it was all about the moment the fog lifted, I had to be there early and then wait and hope. My patience was put to the test: I had to wait almost four hours for the fog to clear and reveal the view of the Heimgarten. It cleared just as quickly afterwards and I set off on the two-and-a-half-hour journey home...

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
