A cute little girl with a giant apple.

It was very cold tonight, so the pretty little girl had to go to bed earlier than usual. Although reluctant, she had to obey her parents. She walked hand-in-hand with her mother to bed. Once she was settled, her mother tucked her in and gently kissed her forehead. The little girl said goodnight to her mother and closed her eyes. The sound of the bedroom door closing softly indicated that her mother had left. After a few minutes, the little girl fell asleep and drifted into a dream. Her spirit floated far away, to a very large house. She looked around, and seeing no one, she cautiously approached through the back door. She carefully pushed the door open and entered a room, realizing it was the kitchen. She was bewildered by the many enormous items inside. She turned around and her eyes fell upon a large red apple. She walked towards it, tried to cradle it in her arms, and began to walk slowly. But after only a few steps, she heard people talking outside the house. The little girl hid behind a sack of rice, holding the apple, and peered through the kitchen window. She saw a huge man and woman, and in her mind, they resembled the giants her mother used to tell her. Fear gripped the little girl's heart. She clutched the apple tightly. Her mother's voice called, waking her up for school. The girl slowly opened her eyes. The big apple was gone.
