A digitally produced collage of several paintings by old masters, starring the reading girl, painted around 1760 by French painter Jean-Honoré Fragonard (1732-1806).
In the original painting, the girl is reading her book in the corner of a somewhat gloomy room; in this version, I have placed her in front of the opened French doors, so that she can read her book with the sunlight coming in and she can enjoy the beautiful view of the trees in the beautiful garden.
The stylists at Art Heroes call my art style ‘Art with a Wink’. And I couldn't agree more. Life is serious enough as it is, don't you think? ;-)
