About "A Moment's Silence"

About the artwork

On a long hike on a trail that seemed to circle of mountain top we came across a path of fog. It was the end of September, but to our surprise the trees looked as green as if it were Spring. This was probably because it had rained for weeks on end. Because of the high humidity levels I did not have my usual telephone lens on the camera, but a lens that covered the 24 to 105mm range, so I would not have to change lenses in these kinds of conditions. The mist was different everywhere you looked. It was hardly visible on the right side of the path where a steep cliff with mighty rocks lead into the valley below, on the left side of the path however, against a steep slope, I spotted this wonderful calm and still scene. It was such a serene scene in this harsh environment and I loved the way the branches looked like arches.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
