A Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II (Warthog) stays overnight at Schiphol-East.
On February 13, 2015, a number of Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II aircraft of the United States Air Force were on their way from the US to Europe. When one aircraft broke down, it and a second aircraft diverted to Schiphol Airport. The aircraft on the photo was not parked very well at Schiphol-East, I had to lie on the ground under a fence to take the photo. All in all it is a successful photo of a special moment.
On this photo you can see some colored light stripes made by a vehicle that passed by during the long shutter time.
In my shop there is another photo of this camera that I made on the same evening but without the light stripes.
