This panaroma photo is made in the Lilliehøøkfjord on the west side of Spitsbergen (Svalbard). The picture actually consists of 6 separate high resolution images that are stitched to each other, resulting in a very high resolution image of 34000x4300 pixels, being 145Megapixel (85% compressed). On request, an uncompressed panorama is available of 40000x5000 pixels (200 Megapixels) for extreme magnifications.
At the end of the 14 kilometer long fjord, the Lilliehöökbreen debouches into the water. Sometimes the fjord is completely covered with drift ice. The vastness of nature is very palpable at this place on earth, and only to be expressed with a panaroma picture.
