The digital artwork depicts a hushed summer moment by the sea, captured in bright colours and minimalist shapes. The composition opens with an empty, clear blue sky that immerses the image in warmth and light. The horizon separates this sky from a shimmering, gently moving sea. Just beyond the middle plan, a white sailing ship calmly cleaves through the water, a subtle reference to freedom and tranquillity.
On the beach, at the front of the picture, lies nonchalantly abandoned clothing-a t-shirt, backpack and a towel-as if someone had undressed headlong. A little further away, central to the composition, a woman in a red swimming costume runs towards the sea. She can be seen from behind, her head turned slightly to the left, revealing a hint of her profile. Her movement is dynamic, captured at the point where both feet seem to briefly leave the ground. Her long shadow extends to the upper right, echoing the afternoon sun shining high and merciless.
A few foaming waves roll onto the beach, just enough to add a sense of movement to the otherwise almost hushed scene. The woman seems to merge into the landscape-her red contrasts sharply with the beige sand and blue of sky and water, but her pose and direction make her part of the natural flow.
Inspired by the exhibition *"Licked by the Sea"* at Museum More, this work captures the essence of summer: lightness, surrender and the call of the sea. "Sand, sea, sun, swimming!" here becomes image rather than word.
