About "150. St. Mary's pump"

About the artwork

Under a clear blue summer sky without clouds, "St. Mariapomp" takes centre stage in this digital artwork - an ode to the Utrecht streetscape and its history. This last remaining public water pump in the city, once described as "the pump among pumps what the lacquer shoe is among clogs", is honoured here with soft shadows and bright colours. The pump's cast-iron silhouette, with its ornate ornaments and weathered surface, exudes a quiet dignity.
To the left of the pump is a stylised young woman in a red summer dress. Her sunglasses reflect the sunlight; her posture is relaxed, her presence elegant and modern - a nod to the vibrant city that has continued to develop around this historic object. To its right, a bicycle leans carelessly against the pump, as if the rider has dismounted for only a moment. The bicycle adds an everyday, almost casual touch to the scene.
On the far right is an old Utrecht lamppost, with its distinctive slender shape and metallic green patina. It forms a visual balance and connects the elements of past and present. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
