"Sapphire Avenue 65" is the third work in a series of nine digital artworks in which the artist explores the doors of his personal living environment. This composition centres on the front door of his own home - an everyday object that, under his digital brush, takes on an almost sacred aura. The door, in a deep shade of weathered blue and framed by soft shadows, exudes a sense of nostalgia and stillness. Every scratch, every discolouration in the wood is subtly highlighted, inviting the viewer to dwell on the traces of time and habitation.
The artist plays with light and texture: reflections on the frosted glass suggest a fleeting world behind the surface, while the door's striped glass seems tangible. The composition is simple but steeped in symbolism; the door acts as a metaphor for boundaries, transitions and personal stories.
