About "022. "The way we were""

About the artwork

This digital artwork captures the ambience of a 1950s kitchen with impressive precision and warmth. The space is compact but full of character. The walls are lightly plastered, with a small crack or discolouration here and there, adding to the charm of the bygone era. There is no wallpaper, no frills - just the raw simplicity of white stucco, which reflects daylight beautifully.
The countertop is solid grey stone, dulled by years of use. On the countertop is a sturdy string bean mill. A whipped cream beater, in which traces of whipped cream remain, stands next to it.
Attached to the wall is a white geyser, with robust metal pipes and white knobs. Below the geyser is the sink, with a soap beaterl inside. Plates and a cup wait in the rack next to it. In the corner of the sink is a green petrol stove, small but functional, with a pan on top of which you can almost hear the simmering.
On the wall above the sink hang metal spoons and a tea towel on a simple rack. The whole place exudes an air of calm and solidity. This digital artwork aptly captures the soul of an everyday but lovingly used kitchen from the 1950s

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
