My name is Rutger Haspers, created in 1984, delivered on 27 March 1985 in Rotterdam and formed since.
Since childhood, I have had several passions. My first real passion was so-called 'G.I. JOE dolls'. Not much later, sports were added. With badminton, football - Feijenoord, yay! - and running away from my brother. The latter more necessity than hobby. Another very big love is music. I love going to concerts and playing guitar myself. As long as I don't sing at them, I have permission to do so.
By mid-2013, I had outgrown the G.I. JOE dolls (according to those around me). So I suddenly had some time on my hands. Photography seemed like a good idea. So I bought an SLR camera. Soon I noticed that it took more than a good camera to take nice pictures. Sure, there were some moments when fate favoured me. In those moments, the conditions matched well with my camera's random settings. Then, if they accidentally included a nice composition, sometimes a good photo came out.
Because I thought it would be nice to shoot good photos consciously and more often, I talked to people who already knew a bit (read: a lot) more about it. In addition, I read a lot about it. At least a lot of reading... I actually mostly watched youtube videos. All that knowledge you can find about photography on the internet is fantastic and often simply inspiring. I still use it gratefully and with pleasure.
