About Pieter Muller
Photographing in black and white allows me to bring out the subject of a photograph more effectively. My favourite subjects are landscapes, flowers and (old) buildings.
I photograph almost exclusively on black-and-white film. For this, I use a Hasselblad or a large-format (4x5 inch) camera. Despite years of experience, every time I develop a roll of film, it remains exciting to see whether the idea I had when taking the shot has actually been captured on the negative.
