About Olaf Wandschneider

Born in 1966 in Hamburg, Germany.

My constant experimentation with colours and materials has helped me to develop as an artist.

Ironically, it was only after I fell ill that I managed to move beyond treating art as merely a hobby. Music and matter continue to inspire me to this day and fuel my imagination. I am also fascinated by philosophical observation and the mystical aspects of life, and the attentive viewer will also find this spell cast in my paintings.

Many of my works are held in the private collections of international art collectors.
