Lioba Hermans lives and works in South Limburg. Born on 4 September 1984, she has been going through life as a cheerful, sensitive and loving person ever since. Inspired by both her parents, she started drawing and painting at the age of four. As a child, she had a great imagination and therefore also liked to write stories or verses. At school, it was difficult for her to concentrate, so she would often dream away in her fantasy world. This gave her a lot of inspiration to create beautiful works. Her creations brought her and those around her much joy. This laid a nice foundation to continue making art. Thus, Lioba developed into a sensitive and loving, self-taught artist. Her style is cheerful and naive, and recently she also started painting abstract.
She also enjoys painting together, in groups or one-to-one. This inspired her to give painting workshops for both adults and children. Her biggest dream is to inspire children, or 'the child in you', through painting. Not only the end result of an authentic painting gives a person a lot, but also the painting journey towards it brings beautiful insights.
