I am self-taught and have been passionate about art and creativity since childhood. Mainly for painting, drawing techniques, illustration, graphics and photography.
My former professions as a carpenter and architect also have creative potential, but, due to rather lengthy processes, do not fulfill my need to implement my creative wishes and ideas quickly enough in sufficient quantity and variety.
Photography in particular offers me the opportunity to create and capture artistic ideas in a comparatively short time.
In choice of motif and technique I have not fixed, like to try everything. Currently, classic landscape motifs from the coast or from rural areas are my focus. In addition, details of the daily environment, which are often not considered worth seeing or not even noticed.
Also in macro photography in the garden, on the wayside or in the studio it fascinates me to make things visible that often remain closed to our eyes.
Motifs that I discover, I always try to put in a special light and color mood. The image processing on the computer I use in most cases to emphasize the natural beauty of the landscapes or objects. And sometimes it may also go more abstract, to discover perhaps new perspectives on often seen motifs.
