Sometimes it’s a planned sunrise. Sometimes it’s an unexpected encounter with a fox. Those are the moments when everything falls into place.
I’m Dave Adriaanse, a photographer from Lisse. A village in the Dutch bulb region, known for its colourful tulip fields. My passion for photography began when one of my first images was published as photo of the month in the local newspaper. Not long after, someone asked if the photo was for sale, that marked the start of my journey in wall art photography.
Since then, my camera has come with me on every trip. I hike through rugged mountain ranges, wander deserted beaches and explore forests in search of wildlife. I photograph nature, landscapes and animals the way I experience them: pure, atmospheric and with an eye for detail. Sometimes after careful planning, sometimes in the moment. Always when it truly matters.
My work is about experience. I aim to make the beauty of nature tangible and leave something that lingers. A memory of a journey, or a sense of calm in a busy space. My images bring the outdoors inside.
Each photo is selected with care, for those who want to feel nature, calm and authenticity at home.
