About Anneke Hooijer
**Anneke Hooijer – Nature Photographer**
Anneke Hooijer is a passionate nature photographer with a particular love for landscape photography. She lives in Ruinen, a village in the Dutch province of Drenthe, close to Dwingelderveld National Park, a beautiful natural area where she finds much of her inspiration and frequently explores with her camera.
She loves heading outdoors in the early morning, when nature is still wrapped in silence and the first light slowly begins to illuminate the landscape. The tranquillity, atmosphere and ever-changing light are an endless source of inspiration for her photography. During her travels, she also enjoys discovering remarkable landscapes and exploring new perspectives.
Over the years, Anneke has continued to develop her photographic vision through various courses, workshops and mentorship programmes, including studies at the Fotoacademie in the Netherlands. Her nature photographs have received honourable mentions on several occasions in De Groene Camera, a Dutch nature photography competition.
Although landscape photography remains her greatest passion, she also enjoys capturing the smaller details of the natural world. Macro photography and other nature subjects therefore form an important part of her work.
