I am an enthusiastic hobby photographer with a great love for nature. For me, there is nothing more enjoyable than walking through forests, dunes or along waters with my camera and capturing the beauty of the world around us. When I go on holiday, my camera is invariably the first thing to be packed - for me, it is the way to really experience new places.
My greatest passion lies in photographing animals in their natural habitat. Observing wild animals, patiently waiting for the right moment, and then trying to capture that one perfect image, gives me immense satisfaction. What makes it extra special is the challenge: after all, wild animals don't work on command. It takes not only patience, but also creativity and a good dose of luck to make the image I have in my head a reality. But it is precisely this challenge that makes it so incredibly fun.
Photography has taught me to really look, even before I raise the camera. I see animals and details in the nature around me faster, because I am always looking for that one image in my head. That gaze has also helped me discover new places and tastes because I am more aware of what surrounds me. It has greatly deepened my appreciation of the world and makes every photo I take a little adventure.
