Silent Vases is a collection of ten photorealistic still life compositions where botanical arrangements meet distinctive vases crafted from diverse materials. From the soft sheen of celadon ceramic to the raw texture of raku and the cool transparency of glass, each work explores the dialogue between nature and craft. Natural light plays a central role: it caresses cherry blossoms, makes copper patina glow, and reveals the finest structures of dried thistles and wild grasses. The compositions breathe calm and attention, rooted in the Dutch still life tradition yet viewed through a contemporary, minimalist lens.
