Stef Ringoot (January 1971) is an illustrator, cartoonist, animator and designer.
After my study “Animation Film” at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent (Belgium) and having lived and worked in Bruges for 10 years, I moved to the Netherlands in September 2003. I draw and design cartoons and illustrations for various Dutch and Belgian clients and I design graphic design. My drawing style is distinctly “comic-like”, my design style rather “illustrative”. From my studio at home I design illustrations for books, folders, teaching materials, etc…. , (digital) cartoons and comics for magazines and websites, custom greeting cards and infographics, logos and (web) animations for all kinds of projects. But also graphic and 3 dimensional design are part of my work. A design for a (theatre) set, a design for an exhibition stand or a design for a float are also among my possibilities. Further specializations are the layout and printing of large format applications such as banners, all kinds of presentation systems, Pop-Up and roll-Up systems and DTP work. As the owner of Galerie Ringoot I manage the works of my grandfather Pieter Ringoot and my father-in-law Hans Sturris.
