Hanging height makes the difference
Hang your abstract painting at eye level, with the centre roughly 145 - 150 cm from the floor. In dining rooms or above furniture, position the artwork so there's 15 - 20 cm of space between the lower edge and the surface below. This creates balance without feeling disconnected from the rest of the room.
