The story goes that the Six Wheels along the Hoornsevaart near Alkmaar/Oudorp is named after the six cogs of three that once stood here. All farmers from the Langedijk went with fully loaded barges along this route to the market in Alkmaar. The persuaders, each with two large wheels, were used to tow their boats over the dike. On this spot there were six ironing mills.
Hello everyone and welcome to my work on the wall !
My passion is landscape and city photography with a side-step to portraits.
I work a lot with ND filters so I can create a slow shutter speed during the day.
Have fun looking at the photos
