This image shows a fragile branch of an ornamental apple tree covered in fresh snow. Small orange-red fruits hang from the thin, dark branches, partly hidden under a soft, white layer of snow. The background is deliberately blurred to make the branches and fruit stand out even more. as if they have momentarily become the centre of the winter world.
What is special about this scene are the small details: the shape of the fruits, the weight of the snow pulling them down, the thin structure of the branches. The combination of the cool white and the warm red-orange gives the image a subtle tension as well as harmony.
The photo was taken during an early morning walk, right after a snowfall. There was almost no sound - only silence. I wanted to capture that quiet. Shooting with a setting where the background automatically fades (as seen in portraits) creates a dreamy, almost picturesque atmosphere.
This work brings a sense of stillness. a moment when time seems to stand still. In an interior, it adds calm and softness, especially in spaces where nature and simplicity are valued.
For me, this sculpture is an ode to the small, the unseen. A reminder that beauty is often in the details. precisely when you dare to stand still for a moment.
