About ‘intertwined dead, frozen branches’ by peter reinders

I got closer and closer,
until the tree was no longer a tree.
Only lines, tension and direction.
What I saw was not chaos,
but cohesion.
Each branch connected to the other,
fixed by time and cold.
For me, this image is about insides:
About how everything is intertwined,
even when it seems hard and silent.

Due to my choice of a detail shot, the recognisable silhouette disappears and an almost abstract image emerges. The tangle of branches completely fills the frame and drew me in as a viewer. The frost on the branches adds texture and sophistication and enhances the graphic character.
I applied the contrast firmly but in a controlled way: the dark trunk acts as an anchor point, while the lighter, fragile branches create a dynamic field of tension. The image evokes associations with drawing, veining, veining or calligraphy. This makes the work particularly suitable for an audience that loves abstract nature, black-and-white and contemporary photography.
This black-and-white photography shows a detailed cut-out of a bare tree, where trunk and branches combine to form a powerful graphic pattern. The frozen structures and high contrast give the work a raw but sophisticated look. The lack of context shifts the focus from landscape to form, line and texture.
The image balances between nature and abstraction and fits perfectly in modern interiors, offices and architectural spaces. The timeless black and white finish makes the work versatile and durable in presentation.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
