About ‘filing cabinet in an abandoned hospital’ by John Noppen
A wooden filing cabinet full of patient files in an abandoned hospital somewhere in a small village (italy). A fire has raged in the room and this is clearly visible on the walls, fortunately the wooden filing cabinet has been preserved.

Meet the artist
John Noppen
Rijnsburg, Netherlands
My name is John Noppen. During my tour through different countries I take unique photographs of beautiful deserted places and buildings, capturing the decay and atmosphere is my ultimate goal. The possibility to take a look behind closed doors and the excitement that this branch of photography brings with it remains a unique experience every time.
