I took this picture during a walk at Promenade de la Hoegne in the Ardennes.
One way of photographing that I find incredibly cool is working with a long shutter speed.
A short explanation: the camera stays open for a few seconds (sometimes longer, sometimes shorter, depending on the weather conditions) to capture images.
Everything that moves gets a kind of blur, also called Milky water.
Everything stationary remains sharp like rocks.
There is a technique involved, because you don't want your photo to be overexposed, and the camera must not move at all!
So a tripod and delaying the time when the camera takes the photo, because even pressing the shutter button will cause the photo to fail.
A technical story haha, but I love the atmosphere it gives.
And in this case, the contradiction between hard and rough of the rocks, and the softer atmospheric water that you can still see flows hard
