About the artwork

This surreal pen-and-ink artwork presents a fascinating fusion of human and plant elements. The central motif is a woman's head, finely drawn in black and white, with flowing lines defining her contours and hair.

The most striking aspect is that her face is largely hidden behind a lush growth of cacti. These desert plants, with their characteristic shapes and spines, seem to sprout organically from her face. Some cacti are small and spherical, while others are long and cylindrical, creating a diverse and dynamic image.

Between the cacti, brightly coloured cactus flowers bloom in vibrant shades of pink, yellow and orange. These flowers provide a cheerful contrast to the black and white base of the drawing and add an unexpected element of beauty and colour to the otherwise prickly landscape.

The cacti and flowers blend seamlessly with the woman's hair, blurring the line between man and nature. A few strands of hair are still visible, gracefully intertwined with the vegetal elements.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
