Abstract butterfly still life Atalanta
The atalanta or admiral butterfly or number moth is one of the most common butterflies in Belgium and the Netherlands. In northern Europe, it is one of the last butterflies that can be seen before winter begins. In the south the butterfly also flies on sunny winter days. so it was time to make a beautiful still life of this butterfly when I had this beautiful butterfly in front of my lens.
On a spiritual level, the Atalanta butterfly is the symbol of the immortal soul and for the brevity of life. The butterfly also symbolizes the three stages the human soul goes through: life, death and resurrection.
A beautiful work for a still life full of butterfly.
