A single blue anemone in full bloom. The delicate, slightly translucent petals unfurl in an elegant, symmetrical circle around the dark, velvety-black centre, which reveals fine stamens.
The petals are an intense, velvety blue with light shades in cooler indigo nuances. The edges are gently rounded and the surfaces have a slightly velvety appearance. The anemone sits on a slender stem that rises gracefully at the front in a slightly arched shape. The foliage is discreet, greenish and restrained, allowing the flower to take centre stage.

This picture is from my last exhibition "Blumengeflüster" and is called Luise. In this series, I wanted to depict the beauty, grace and elegance of the individual flowers. As they also have a certain femininity for me, they were all given female first names.
Photography has fascinated me since childhood and is my great passion. According to Henrie Cartier-Bresson: "The one eye of the photographer looks wide open through the viewfinder, the other, the closed, looks into his own soul", my pictures are soul pictures.
