During the culture night 2014 Breda in the MOTI museum was announced that this image of the big funnel man, sent in by me, was chosen by the professional jury as the winner of the contest "the icon of Breda".
The photo was submitted with a required text of a maximum of one hundred words: "What a nerve of that red man with the orange funnel to lie down in the lazy grass along the motorway, day after day, looking at everyone. He has no hands and feet and is perhaps a bit of a strange little man. But precisely because of that, he gives hands and feet to our thoughts. The spontaneous thought, for example, that it is good to be in the pleasant and lively Breda.
And after some deeper thought, that the centuries old Breda feels the modern spirit of the time and gives colour to it"......
