About ‘before sunrise on Koh Mook’ by Walter G. Allgöwer

A longtail boat rests peacefully on the beach of Koh Mook Island, surrounded by the gentle embrace of the Andaman Sea. The horizon is still shrouded in velvet grey clouds, while the sun waits tentatively behind the veil of night. The air is heavy with silence, only the gentle lapping of the waves breaks the perfect calm. The scenery seems frozen in time, a moment of unspoilt nature before the day awakens with all its hustle and bustle.
The longtail boat, with its simple lines and weathered wood, tells stories of discoveries and encounters at sea. It rests here, seemingly in harmony with the serenity of the moment. The sand, still cool from the night, gently surrounds it and forms a delicate contrast to the dark blue of the water.
This moment before dawn harbours a magic all of its own. It is a time of transition - from the still night to the lively day, from calm to movement. The island, the sea and the boat merge into a harmonious picture that speaks of peace and serenity. A piece of paradise, captured in the stillness before awakening.
