About the artwork

High waves crashing against the rocks in the Aegean Sea in Crete
While on holiday in Crete, I took this photo. The sea was wild. The strong wind brought ferocious waves which was a beautiful spectacle of a coming and going of the foaming waves. Fascinating to capture this. Each time a new wave came and the trick was to take the picture at the right moment. Great experience. This produced beautiful pictures.
Lovely to experience this and see how nature works. The sea always fascinates me anyway. I had already mentioned that I took this photo on a holiday to Crete. What a great island. Wonderfully relaxed. Nice friendly atmosphere and great weather. Highly recommended. Nice to rent a car and tour around the island. This photo was taken in Hersonissos. That is where I stayed.

I think this work fits well in a living room or bedroom because it brings peace when you look at it.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
