After an intense summer storm, when the last drops of rain had just stopped falling, I captured a special moment. The view over Oberstdorf in the Allgäu region is breathtakingly beautiful. A magnificent rainbow stretches majestically across the sky, as if it wants to embrace the town with a glowing ribbon. The colours of the rainbow are so intense that they seem almost surreal and make you forget the grey of the receding storm.
