Zeeland Bridge (1965, previously Oosterschelde Bridge) is a road bridge (both cars and two-wheelers) over the Oosterschelde River with a length of over 5 kilometers. The road bridge connects Noord-Beveland with Schouwen-Duiveland, and provides a shorter connection to the towns of Middelburg and Goes on the southern side, and Zierikzee and Bruinisse on the northern side.
The bridge was built as part of the Delta Works. Tolls were levied until 1993.
After riding the bridge by bicycle, I came to the Oost Zeedijk (Noord Beveland, Colijnsplaat) via Colijnsplaat and then took this photo at the bottom of the Zeeland Bridge. On the horizon is Zierikzee (Schouwen-Duiveland).
