Astrantia Major, large starlet or Zeeland knotweed is a perennial herb in the umbellifer family. The plant grows about 1 m tall. The long, bare stem bears few leaves. The hand-shaped divided or split lower leaves are up to 15 cm long and strongly veined. These are stalked.
