A young zebra close to its mother in the herd. The picture was taken in Lake Mburo national park in Uganda. A beautiful park where many zebras and other animals live. I have seen a similar picture before but when I got this image in front of the camera I couldn't resist taking this picture. The foal made such an uninhibited impression. I converted the photo to Black and White because a young Zebra foal has many shades of brown compared to an adult zebra. The full black and white pattern a zebra gets only after 1 year of life.
The ranger's estimate was that this foal was at most 3 months old.
My passion is photography, inherited from my father.
